Learn What Parents are Saying About the School
Jason T. says…
The Academy for G.O.D has truly been an answered prayer for us! Prior to attending the Academy, we homeschooled because we couldn’t find a school that valued our child as a unique individual with diverse skills and strengths. We wanted more than a “one size fits all” approach to education.
Throughout the years, we continued our search for a program that paralleled our family’s values. We desired a place that put God first in everything, promoted serving and community awareness, cultivated character, and valued education. We wanted a school that understands a multitude of factors matter in a child’s journey throughout development, not just one or two. We realized this was a big ask, but we weren't going to settle for anything less. I am thrilled to say we have found all of this, and more, at the Academy for G.O.D.!
In just our first year here, our child has grown exponentially in his confidence, creativity, social skills, and academic studies. The teachers and students have embraced our son from day one and he genuinely looks forward to school every day! He started as a part-time student and after a few months asked if he could attend full-time because he loves it so much! We are so grateful to be in a partnership with the Academy and excited to see what the future brings!

“When we knew it was time to move our boys (middle and high) from public school, we researched multiple private options and are so glad we landed at the Academy for GOD. One of our favorite aspects of the school is the individualized approach. The administration has been incredibly supportive of our sons’ goals for their future and work to help them achieve those.
The genuine love and care from the teachers and the administration has been so evident from “how are you, really?” conversations they have with our kids to quick responses and openness to meet about any concerns. Our boys can’t imagine being anywhere else! As much as we appreciate the daily spiritual focus, the affordability, the individualized study, the access to extracurricular sports and activities, we continue to tell people how much the administration and teachers genuinely love Jesus and love our kids. What more could parents ask for?”

“My son (kindergarten) and daughter (generals) have LOVED attending the Academy for G.O.D. But something that has really stuck out to me as a parent is how my daughters love for learning about God and having time for prayer and worship has been enhanced and developed as she has been a student even at a young age. She just turned 8 and will walk around our house singing worship songs she has learned in school and as a parent it makes me so happy and proud to know that my wife and I are not the only ones investing in the very important spiritual development of our kids.”

“The change we have witnessed in our sons is not just simply recordable in testing and common knowledge, that is readily available to all these days by saying "Okay Google...". The confidence our sons have today comes from teachers that have invested in them, love them, and treat them like their own children because by the faith that they all walk in these are their children, our children, our future collectively. They have learned more scripture in the past few years than I had been taught in my 40 plus years. The way they now see and interact in the world around them is witness to this; it is a testament to the love our Lord has for us and the promises he gives us. The future is bright because of the Academy of GOD and all those amazing teachers that pour their hearts and souls into their calling.”

"Excellent. I can't believe how much my son changed and grew over the course of a year. He is really introverted and I was admittedly nervous about his integration into the classroom. His confidence level and comfortability in his own skin exceeded my expectations. He fostered new relationships and developed new interests over the year. The curriculum is excellent and practical. My son's teacher kept us up to date about what they were focusing on week to week and we were able to emphasize those things at home. More than anything, I felt like his teacher and the leadership of the school really strived to give the kids their best learning experience. We can't wait for next year to start!"

"Words hardly seem adequate to express how thankful we are for The Academy for G.O.D. In a matter of weeks, our daughter dramatically improved in her ability to read, write, and think critically. It was astounding, and she LOVES it! In public school, every day was a struggle. She didn’t want to go, and I honestly could not see how it was helping her. Our experience this year almost brings me to tears, because she is thriving.
The teachers are passionate and dynamic, and teach the students in creative ways that encourage the children to do more than memorize data, but to truly engage in the material. The teachers value the students as individuals and recognize their learning style and specific needs. Additionally, our daughter is learning about ethical behavior. She is learning values that affect how she acts with her sisters at home. It’s a beautiful thing to see and my husband and I are extremely grateful that we could be part of this."
